Completely RESTORED: 

The vehicle has had a total NUT and BOLT restoration from top to bottom. It was a high quality original car prior to restoration and retained its entire original driveline. I spoke with the individual who did the restoration and the new owner will receive his contact information.  

This car was totally disassembled and rebuilt to be show room new condition. No expense was spared in returning this rare Mustang to its original glory. Everything works including all the gauges. The car runs and drives as new. It has been garaged and pampered and driven less than a 1,000 miles since its completion approximately 4 years ago. Consequently it still looks fresh. The paint has that deep high gloss “wet look” over a laser straight body.  The engine bay is super clean and correctly detailed. The interior and top are like new. The undercarriage is so nice it should be shown with mirrors.  

All the sheet metal appears to be original to the car including the rear quarter panels. This is truly a rust free car. Even the floors are original other than the 2 rear pans, which were professionally replaced to a “show level”. The floors are spotless. There is ZERO undercoating, nothing hiding.   

This car was sold new right here in Dallas, Texas and has been in the dry south its entire life. Seasoned Mustang collectors know how hard it is to find a 65 convertible with this kind of body integrity. 

This is an outstanding SHOW / Driver, not a 100 point perfect concours car. They weren’t perfect when new. This is a high integrity car that was restored to be a show driven car and it can be enjoyed as such for years to come.
