Owner History

Every owner since new has been identified by name and the list comes with the “Documentation Binder”.

I purchased this car from a neighbor just two miles down the road from my home. He had owned this car some 21 years. In 1991 he had it professionally restored and dove it very sparingly since. Driven less than 5,000 pamper miles (fair weather only) since its completion, it remains a stunning car.

It still looks fresh, it’s very reliable and it delivers a great “Behind the Wheel Experience”. This has been my personal cruiser of choice for the last year.

-  3:42 POSI  /  Safe-T-Track rear end

Originality

One of the most popular “factory looks” to ever come out of Detroit, this beautiful 1967 GTO convertible has been faithfully restored to its original iconic appearance INCLUDING its original factory colors. Pontiac got it right when they called it …”the great one”.

The Tyrol Blue exterior, mated with the dark Blue interior is one of the most sought after “color combinations” and it is easy to see why ….. simply beautiful from any vantage point, it’s hard to take a bad picture of this car.

Under the hood, the car has the correct factory appearance with all the original and/or period correct components. The original block was blown long ago and replaced with a period correct 400 “built” to ’67 400 HO specs. GTO Ram Air III exhaust manifolds were added - the result …. she will FLY!

Performance

Please take time to WATCH the VIDEOS !!

Much more than a beauty queen, this car will flat  GET IT!

The motor is NOT overbuilt (NO shaking from an oversized cam, NO running hot, NO bad habits of any kind). It is actually mild mannered and very nice to simply cruise in. With two personalities, this car is truly the best of both worlds.

It cruises the neighborhood as mellow as you might like, or it will instantly perform “like a classic street brawler”.

I love taking road trips in it, some of which I have videoed. This car has an excellent highway manner and makes you want to just KEEP ON GOING !

Paint & Body  / STUNNING !!

In 1991 this car was stripped and treated to a bare metal repaint. Any rust found was cut out and the metal replaced. This car is rust FREE. The door jams and bottom side of the deck lid are as nice as the rest of the car. The fact that this car looks this awesome 20 years later is a testimony to the quality of the work and subsequent care.

The paint has that super slick, deep WET look. It looks as good in real life as it does in the photos. Of course under close “super critical” examination there are a few minor paint chips from the car having been driven. Also, I have taken tight shots of the two most notable flaws on the car, neither of which detract from the total WOW factor this car presents – it is stunning!

new Power TOP

I just spent $1,300 to have a quality new top installed (receipt in Documentation Binder). The back plastic window is crystal clear and the top itself fits like a quality install should. The rest of the system was replaced in the restoration (i.e. motor & lines) and it works perfectly.

Location / Contact info / about ME

I will help you anyway I can in determining if this is the right car for you.

My name is Michael Chance & my phone number is

817-992-7991

I am located within 30 minutes of both Dallas, Texas AIRPORTS.

This vehicle, like all vehicles I sell, is owned by me and is in my possession … NOT a consignment car listed for an unidentified third party. I am very particular and buy only the much harder to find high integrity cars. I have restored, shown, judged, appraised and collected classic cars for over 30 years.  I am true car guy and I know the difference between quality and a fluffed up old car.
